2024 Sinhala & Tamil New Year Sri Lanka | සිංහල දෙමළ අලුත් අවුරුද්ද

Sinhala & Tamil New Year Sri Lanka 2024 13th of April. Also known as the sun festival, the Sri Lankan New Year is a ritual performed to honor the God Sun for hundreds of years. Based on the sun’s movement from the Meena Rashiya (House of Pieces) to the Mesha Rashiya (House of Aries) Sinhala and Tamil New Year. The biggest celebration in Sri Lanka features a load of rituals and customs and is one of the must things to experience during your holiday on the island. Sri Lankan welcomes the new year in April with a lot of firecrackers, fireworks, and gourmet traditional sweets… Comes with such a long history the festival is the best season to experience Sri Lanka’s core traditions and rituals and to enjoy fun activities and traditional games at the same time that you cannot experience anywhere else

අවුරුදු නැකැත් 2024 – සිංහල සම්ප්‍රදායික අලුත් අවුරුද්ද ආරම්භ වන්නේ ජ්‍යොතිෂ්‍ය ගණනය කිරීම් අනුව තීරණය වන කාලයකදීය. පසුව; පරණ අවුරුද්දේ අවසානය සහ අලුත් අවුරුද්දේ ආරම්භය පැය කිහිපයක් එකිනෙකින් සිදු වේ (මෙම කාල පරාසය සාමාන්‍යයෙන් පැය 12 යි මිනිත්තු 48 කි, එය තැටියක් ලෙස සූර්යයා ජ්‍යෝතිඃ ශාස්ත්‍රීය සීමාව පසු කිරීමට පටන් ගන්නා විට ආරම්භ වේ. ‘මීන රාශිය’ සහ ‘මේෂ නිවස’ අතර සහ තරණය සම්පූර්ණ වූ විට අවසන් වේ. අර්ධ ලක්ෂය නව වසර උදාව ලෙස සැලකේ). මෙම කාල සීමාව නොනගතේ (හෝ ‘මධ්‍යස්ථ කාලය’ හෝ ‘නැකත’ ලෙස හැඳින්වේ. මෙම කාලය තුළ ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන් සම්ප්‍රදායට අනුව ද්‍රව්‍යමය ක්‍රියාකාරකම්වලින් වැළකී ආගමික ක්‍රියාකාරකම්වල හෝ සම්ප්‍රදායික ක්‍රීඩාවල පමණක් නිරත වීමට දිරිගන්වනු ලැබේ.
