Call for Applications: Feasibility Report on Establishing a Retirement Village in NSW

The Sri Lanka Association of NSW is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced entities to undertake a comprehensive feasibility report on the establishment of a retirement village in New South Wales.

Background
The Association is committed to exploring the possibility of setting up a retirement village that caters to the needs and preferences of the Sri Lankan community and the wider population in NSW. To ensure the success and sustainability of this initiative, we require a detailed feasibility study conducted by professionals with demonstrated experience in similar projects.

Scope of Work

  • Conduct a thorough market analysis to assess demand and potential locations.

  • Evaluate regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements for establishing a retirement village in NSW.

  • Analyse financial viability, including cost estimates, funding models, and projected returns.

  • Review best practices and case studies from similar projects, especially those serving multicultural communities.

  • Engage with key stakeholders, including local government, community groups, and potential residents.

  • Provide clear recommendations and an actionable implementation plan.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be registered entities with proven experience in conducting feasibility studies for retirement villages or similar large-scale community projects.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the regulatory environment and aged care sector in NSW.

  • Strong track record in stakeholder engagement and report delivery.

Application Process
Interested entities are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) including:

  • A cover letter outlining relevant experience and approach to the project.

  • Details of previous feasibility studies or related projects undertaken.

  • References from clients for whom similar work has been completed.

  • An indicative timeline and proposed budget for the feasibility report.

  • Details of the project team and their qualifications.

Submission Details
Please send your application to the Secretary, Sri Lanka Association of NSW, via email to secretary@slansw.org.au by 5:00 PM, 31/10/2025. Shortlisted applicants may be invited for an interview or to provide further information.

Contact Information
For further enquiries, please contact the Association at secretary@slansw.org.au or call 0425 763 526 during business hours.

The Sri Lanka Association of NSW looks forward to engaging with experienced professionals to advance this important community initiative.
