Gone are the days of the sparkling Nuwara Eliya beer made from mountain spring water.Sadly,the world famous brewery is no more and the beer with the famous name is now being made from water from the Kelani River. Having grown up in Nuwara Eliya I have fond memories people of NE and the town.- The same sans the crates. The first in the line of pub crawling. Remember the icy cold draught beer and snug tables.
