To embrace diversity and inclusiveness, Cricket Australia proudly celebrates the first anniversary of the SQUAD Nepal Facebook group on Saturday, 10 February.

This digital platform with 2.5k group members, tailored for cricket enthusiasts within the Nepalese community residing in Australia, has emerged as a pivotal channel for connectivity and collaboration.

Cricket Australia’s Multicultural Action Plan endeavours to grow the game and connect multicultural communities in Australia.

Cricket Australia also takes this opportunity to highlight the invaluable contributions of Nepalese community members who have become integral stakeholders in Australian cricket.

Michael Hennessy, Fan Engagement Manager (SQUADS):

‘’We are committed to implement Multicultural Action Plan to embrace the inclusiveness and diversity in Australian cricket.

“We feel proud to celebrate the first anniversary of Squad Nepal Facebook group where fans can express their passion for cricket and get connected with Australian cricket.

“Squad Nepal exemplifies the spirit of inclusivity and collaboration that lies at the heart of Australian cricket.”
