“DEWATHA ELI” MUSICAL CONCERT ,SONGS OF LYRICIST CEO TELEVIEW SUNIL RATNAYAKE COMPILED DURING HIS LEISSURE HELD AT BMICH ON 15th MARCH 2025 – By Sunil Thenabadu
“DEWATHA ELI” musical concert was terminated on the 15th March at the BMICH in a sparkling evening to a packed house of invitees and music lovers. The lyrics of all songs that were sung were composed by the CEO of Teleview Sunil Ratnayake which coincidentally written as a hobby purely at leisure for his relaxation.
For this exceptional occasion the Chief Guest was honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism Vijitha Herath. Also as a special guest the Chief Incumbent of the Gangaramaya temple Most Venerable Kirinde Assaji Thero participated which ignited the concert a very superior elevation

The compere chosen to conduct the recital was Dulakshi Perera whose presentation was excellent had received abundant of accolades. The pioneering musical score was by the acclaimed musician Suresh Maliyadde.
The vocalists invited to sing were Amarasiri Peiris,Kamal Addararachchi, Deepika Priyadarshini, Ridma Weerawardena, Lakmini Udawatta,Adithya Weliwatta,Upeka Nirmani ,Upeka Ruckshan and Vidusha Rajaguru.Sunil Ratnayake had selected both veteran and novice singers All songs which Sunil Ratnayake had written lyrics were sung by singers with the scenes of teledramas been flashed on the large screen at the rear of the prestigious BMICH. This endeavour had delighted the audience had gone back reflecting the memories which was an exceptional spectacle to the entire audience.
