New Government Sworn In: A 21-Member Cabinet to Drive Sri Lanka’s Future

At the Presidential Secretariat, the new National People’s Power (NPP) government Cabinet was sworn in before me this morning (18).
The new Cabinet is limited to 21 members, with the Ministries of Defence, Finance, Planning and Digital Economy assigned under my purview.
Dr. Harini Amarasuriya was sworn in as the new government’s Prime Minister, and the Cabinet ministers are as follows:

Vijitha Herath, MP: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism
Prof. Chandana Abeyratne, MP: Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, Local Government
Attorney Harshana Nanayakkara, MP: Minister of Justice, and National Integration
Saroja Savithri Paulraj, MP: Minister of Women and Child Affairs
K.D. Lal Kantha, MP: Minister of Agriculture, Lands, Livestock and Irrigation
