NISHAJI OF WALLIWALA WELIGAMA – by Quintus de Zylva
NISHAJI is the only daughter of NISHANTHA the fisherman of Weligama.
She has just sat for her final exam in nursing at the Matara Nursing School and would like to go on to do a two year degree in Nursing.
We hope to assist her in achieving this goal.
There has been no other girl from Weligama who has gone on to achieve this qualification.
Her parents are naturally so proud of her and she acts as the medical advisor for the whole village of Walliwala.
