Former Chairman, Education Services Commission of the Public Services Commission, Deputy Director General of Education, Member of University Grants Commission, Director – Institute of Workers Education / University of Colombo, Member of Sri Lanka Sports Council, Honourable Director, Sri Lanka Tourist Board. Dearly beloved husband of Swinitha (nee Nanayakkara), loving father of Priyantha, Sajith, Indira, Champake & Thusitha, father-in-law of Sandeepika (Sandhu), Rohan, Kaumudi (Munchi) and Katherine, cherished, grandfather of Rivi, Meth Miara, Shanaya, Shevin, Danika, Callum & Taneisha. 14th Dec. Tuesday 7 p.m. – Viewing at Le Pine-388, Springvale Road, Glen Waverly. Funeral will take place at 3.30 p.m. 15th Dec.
