St. Peter’s College OBU UK celebrated their annual Christmas gathering, “Peterite Christmas Night 2024” drawing an impressive crowd of over 250 guests to the prestigious Nakshastra Hall in London.
The event stands as a testament to the organizing committee’s efforts in bringing together members of the Peterite family for an evening of fellowship and celebration, proving that the bonds formed at St. Peter’s College Colombo, continue to thrive well beyond school days.
The combination of Christmas Carols with fantastic live band performance by Solid has been a signature element of these Peterite gatherings, bringing together alumni and guests in a celebration of community and holiday spirit. It’s heart-warming to hear that the Peterites and guests came together to sing carols, emphasizing the sense of community and shared joy.
The Grand Raffle Draw over £2,000 worth prizes including Cash Prizes, Luxurious designer handbags, Trip to France for Two, Night Hotel Stay in London City as well as the presence of Santa Claus with surprise gifts for all children made it even more memorable for families and kids. Whitton Caterers provided food for the event ensuring that attendees enjoyed a delicious meal.
It’s commendable that the OBU UK continues to support St. Peter’s College in various projects and activities in the UK and Colombo. Having an active and determined committee led by President Disney Abeysekera, demonstrates a commitment to the OBU UK branch’s success. SPC OBU UK has exciting plans lined up for 2025.
