Former Sri Lanka fast bowler Pramodya Wickramasinghe, is likely to be appointed as the new Chairman of National Cricket Selectors, Daily News reliably learns.
Chairman of National Cricket Selectors, Ashantha de Mel on Wednesday, tendered his resignation after Sri Lanka’s defeat against England in the recently concluded Test series in Galle.
“Pramodya is the front-runner to replace Ashantha de Mel. Hence, most likely Pramodya will be appointed as the new Chairman of National Cricket Selectors,” the source added further.
