Tanveer Sangha credits Thunders Nations Cup for his career growth!

A journey that started from the Thunders Nations Cup to donning the green and gold for the Australia men’s cricket team. Sangha, who initially gained recognition in the Thunders Nations Cup, expressed his gratitude for the tournament, stating, “Thunders Nations Cup helped in my professional growth and development as a cricketer.”

As another final of Thunders Nations Cup unfolds today between India and Pakistan at the Sydney Showground Stadium, Sangha, will be present to witness the clash.

The player of the final will also have the unique opportunity to share the Sydney Thunders dug out for today’s Big Bash League fixture against Perth Scorchers.

Speaking about his journey, Sangha said, “I see my story as an amazing one; Coming as a player from Thunders Nations Cup and getting an opportunity in the Sydney Thunders squad for Big Bash League opened doors for me to represent the Australia men’s cricket team.” The young cricketer highlighted the significance of the Thunders Nations Cup in providing opportunities for players like him to climb the ranks of professional cricket.

For Sangha, playing in the stadium as a kid was a massive dream, and the Thunders Nations Cup played a pivotal role in turning that dream into reality.

“This multicultural tournament provided a platform for players from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Nepal to showcase their talents and get an opportunity to train with the Sydney Thunders squad.”

To add to the excitement, rap star L-FRESH The LION is set to perform at the end of the Thunders Nations Cup final, creating a memorable atmosphere for the fans in attendance.
