Bringing the Christmas Cheer on this Christmas day – sent by Charles Schokman

Lets you did not know?

Many  years  before  the  birth  of  Jesus  Christ,   the  25th.  of  December  was  the  Pagan,s  day  for  sacrifices to their  gods  and  celebrations .

Later  on, in  the  year 533 AD ,  the  newly  converted  Christian  Emperor  Constantine  of  Rome  and  head  of  the  Roman  Church  ( today  the  Roman

Catholic Church )  changed  it  to  be  the day  to  commemorate  the  birth  of  Jesus  Christ.  He  called  the  day “ The  Mass  for  Christ “   ie.  CHRISTMAS.

CHRIST  in  Hebrew  means  “ The  Anointed  One “  or  “ The  Chosen  One “.

Thus  CHRISTMAS  means  “ The  Gathering  of  People  of  Christ “  –  His  Disciples  and  Followers .

After  it  was  universally  accepted  and  revered  as  the  day  to  commemorate  the  birth  of  the  Messiah  of the  World, Jesus Christ,  the  Anti Christs  and  Atheists  preferred  to  call  the  occasion  “ XMAS “  , removing  the  name  of  Christ  and  inserting  the  Algebraic symbol  for  the  “unknown   – “  X “,  in keeping  with  their  belief  that  there  is  no  God . Thus  it  would  be  improper  for  Christians  to  call  or  refer to  this  Holy  day  as  “ Xmas “.
