VALE – DR ROBERT SOURJAH Robert Sourjah Robert Grant Sourjah was a consultant physician (FRCP) who worked in many cities in Sri Lanka as well as the UK & for Aramco in Saudi Arabia. He was Trinity College’s first Bradby captain in 1945. He also played rugby for the university & Havelocks sports club. He is survived by his wife Inez, Son Rohan & his wife Dianne and children Mark & Krysten.& son Lalin & his wife Susan & daughter Sarah. Robert was the life of the party & loved by all. First Bradby captain no more – by Hafiz Marikar The first Bradby Shield captain of Trinity College in 1945 Robert Sourjah passed away in Sydney on Thursday. He was a retired DGM of the State Pharmaceutical Corporation. Harindra was in fact responsible for the exsistance of the Pre-Seventies Batch Group and was the prime mover of the idea of having this Batch registered under the OBU. Though he shunned the limelight and refused to accept the position of President of the Batch Group, he worked tirelessly for the success of the Batch and we are indebted to him for the many things he silently did on behalf of the Batch.
