Chicken Devil Recipe - By Malsha - eLanka

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken, cut into small pieces
  • Soy sauce, turmeric powder, pepper, and salt for seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 onions, sliced into large circles
  • 2 fish chili pods
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 tablespoons crushed chili powder
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • Oil

Instructions:

  1. Begin by seasoning the chicken with soy sauce, turmeric powder, pepper, and salt. Allow it to marinate for about 30 minutes. After marination, deep-fry half of the chicken pieces until golden brown.
  2. In a separate pan, heat some oil and add ginger-garlic paste. Then, incorporate chili pieces and sugar, cooking on low flame until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Once the sugar has dissolved, add tomato sauce and soy sauce to the mixture. Mix well and introduce the fried chicken pieces. Cook on low flame for a while.
  4. Add sliced onions, fish chili pods, and tomatoes to the pan. Stir the ingredients and remove from heat. Optionally, you can also add bell peppers at this stage.
  5. Your Chicken Devil is now ready to be enjoyed. This flavorful dish pairs well with noodles or fried rice. Serve and savor the deliciousness!
