Professor Lakshman is a senior Lawyer and Behavioural Scientist with an interest in Therapeutic Jurisprudence. Has held many senior positions globally with a background of scholarship and research exceeding 60. His research includes inter alia: The Art of State Doctrine in Anglo-American Courts; Altered States of Consciousness, e-Consciousness and Deep Meditation; Happiness, risk-taking, neuro-economics and ways to identify different neural correlates for early versus delayed rewards; Sin Vs Suffering- a comparison of Buddhagosha’s Vissudhimaga with Karl Bath’s Dogmatics; Does an Authentic Personal Brand emerge from an Enlivened Consciousness? In 2015 he assumed the role of International Chairman Medicina Alternativa and Chairman Global Consortium of Science and Technology.

He is the Author of four books: Organizational Behaviour and Leadership, Clinical Psychology, Buddhism & Christianity. Two of these books are listed in the Peradeniya University Library, Sri Lanka.  He was one of the founders of the Brain Technology and Neuroscience Research Centre-BTNRC, Sri Lanka.
