Just two months left to reach the end of the year
As we feel the outside temperature drop ever so gradually
And the flora and fauna taking its natural tail in its myriad way
And of “Remembrance Day” that will; & have to forever stay
To remind us of the many personal supreme sacrifices they did encounter
And longing to generate the birth of a great religion in grandeur & festivity
This religion places much emphasis on spiritual values and morality
Let’s continue on the journey of biblical supplications
And take strength in following spiritual concepts
“Peace on Earth” & “Goodwill” among all living beings
Not forgetting loved ones be it kith or kin; friends or acquaintances alive or in the heavens
In this period of remembrances and goodwill, let’s not forget the needy
Eking out a “hand to mouth” existence with their children, if any
Bu beware of the “Professional Beggars” that now are aplenty
Standing at the entrance to shopping malls & traffic light with apathy
