The college teacher, Mr Sugathadasa of Handcrafts fame celebrated his 95th birthday at his Bandaragama home yesterday
Some high powered people one notes among those present! Dr.Nihal de Silva (academic and champion long distance athlete!), Mr Welgama MP, Lasantha Salgado (playing piano), Keseralal Gunasekera, architect Ashley de Vos, Milinda Hettiarachchi (member of the board of governors STC), Prof G.L.P. of course, R. Rajakaruna and Sriyan Jayasekera among other stalwarts and dignitaries!! Quite a “force” of goodwill ambassadors!
