POEM TO MUM
There is a love, a love so rare,
That only a mother and daughter share,
We had that love mother – you and I,
From the day I was born, till the day you died.
Others have lost their mothers I know,
But you were mine and I loved you so.
It broke my heart to lose you, but you did not go alone,
For part of me went with you, the day God called you home.
If tears could build a pathway and memories a lane,
I’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
Rest in peace Darling Mum – you were “Simply the Best”.
