Seven – by Allan Pinder

A beautiful story about life as it was and is. A young girl is thrown into the deep end, and through sheer guts and determination, finds her dream.   At the age of 16, Grace gets pregnant and, with much sadness and angst from her family, decides to give her baby up for adoption. She is helped by her best friend Tammy, who, together with her family, welcome her into their home, comforting and helping the teenager through the pregnancy and the birth of her child. Grace continues her studies and becomes a nurse, choosing to live with her grandma on the farm called ‘Seven’. With her grandma’s blessing, she converts the farm into an orphanage for homeless children whose stories are at the heart of this story. Set in South Africa, it’s a story of sadness and courage, but mostly of love and family that will enthral you from start to finish.
