Aligning with the significance of World Environment Day, celebrated on June 5, the primary objective of this initiative was to rejuvenate the forest canopy in Deniyaya In addition to the restoration efforts, this project aims to enhance awareness on the importance of preserving and restoring our forests, particularly among school children. By engaging 130 students from Selwankanda Tamil School, the programme seeks to educate and inspire young minds to develop a profound love and care for their environment.
