Cooke said that the Digital motor sports campaign in Sri Lanka was launched by Ceylon Motor sport Club which introduced the ‘Speed Runs’ the ultimate simulator challenge to create more enthusiasm.Armed with 10 state of the art play-seats, the CMSC embarked on a six month adventure around Sri Lanka to educate and encourage the youth about e-motor sports. E-racing events were held in Colombo and Matara while the rest of the venues had to be called off due to the onset of pandemic. The finals took place at the Shangri-La Mall in Colombo.
