Australian housing has proven to be a resilient performer throughout all of the major crises over the past 3 decades, including the 1987 stock-market crash, the 1991 recession, the 2001 tech wreck, the 2007-09 global financial crisis and the 2020 extended lockdowns etc.

In recent times Australia has had amongst the strongest population growth in the developed world and as the population expands in metropolitan markets it’s becoming increasingly difficult to bring new housing supply online. ANZ & Westpac estimate that Australia’s current underlying housing shortage is around 200,000 homes & rising!

Fact : Inline with current immigration rates, Australian capital cities will double in size within 50 years [the department of Immigration & Citizenship research indicates]. Even with Zero migration, the capitals are expected to grow in size by roughly 50%.

Opportunity : Invest in Property, the fundamentals are clearly in place to achieve long term capital growth and realistic rental yields on an ongoing basis. Using the principle of Supply & Demand there is a drastic undersupply compounded by an unusually higher demand … resulting in strong pricing and higher rental yields.

In fact, what I have realised is that our education system does not teach us how to pay off mortgages earlier than 30 years without working additional jobs. Also, we are not taught to gear up to creating additional income.

With the right strategy this is entirely possible and my passion and way of giving back to my old clients and to the community, is to change these statistics.

It’s easy when you know how and thankfully after over 45 years dealing with real estate and property I can say that I understand it well and know what works and what doesn’t.

If I can be of assistance to you, I am happy to help, as this is what gives me joy.

All you have to do is call 0418313299 or email bertram@itsabreeze.com.au

Looking forward to hearing from you.
