KAREN THROWS HER HAT INTO THE PUBLISHING RING
Karen has short stories published in several anthologies but on 17th October 2023 she released her debut full length novel. She eschewed the traditional launch where people feel obliged to buy a copy of the published book because she knows that her genre – steamy contemporary romance – isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Instead, she chose to celebrate the day with two of her closest friends at the Opera Bar in Sydney (the setting for one of the scenes in her book).
Right from the outset, Karen was aiming for quality irrespective of sales success. And the book has an abundance of quality. It’s cover, its appearance, its structure, its formatting, and of course the writing. It’s a book to look at, feel, touch, browse through, and read. It’s a book that will brighten your library.
It is indeed a well written book that has been a finalist in three prestigious romance writing competitions.
