Singer Tony Hasan passes away

Sri Lankan singer Tony Hassan who has passed away at the age of 73 after suffering from an illness. Hasan was a singer for the generations, who has been part of the music industry for more than five decades. He was popular among Sri Lankans for his Sinhala songs and for Hindi knack to sing hindi songs.
According to family sources, his final rites will be performed at the Maligawatte Muslim Burial ground today evening (17 May).
