Sri Lanka Sports association and Mr. Sugath Wijedoru (Littles Lawyers) welcomed the Sri Lanka Track Masters Netball team from Sri Lanka visiting Brisbane for the 12th Pan Pacific Masters Games held at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure centre on 6th November 2022.
They took part on a five day first round games and they qualified to play the semi- finals and finally they became the Gold Medal winners in the category of age group 35s. We had the presence of Mr. Anton Swan, Honorary Consul for Sri Lanka in Queensland, and wife Bronwen at the finals.
Prior to departure, they were hosted for dinner by Dr. Sanjeewa Kulawickrama, the Gold Coast Sri Lanka association & they thanked the Sri Lanka Sports association of Brisbane, Gold Coast Sri Lanka association, Sandhya Abeysekera, Food Caterers and the community from Brisbane and Gold Coast for the endless support given to them in many ways.
