Dad was a Clerk who worked as a Civillian for the Ceylon Army, while Mum was simply considered a housewife. The family had moved into No.10, Lorensz Road, Bambalapitiya during the late 40’s, and this is where I met Maureen (Neliya Hingert), for the first time.
