    FORGET US NOT” – By Des Kelly Remembrance day is just around the corner. It is hard to imagine that 78 years have now come and gone since the United States of America got involved in World War 2. Whatever people now say, whatever they think of this great Country run by Donald Trump, the fact remains that the big “picture” of our World would now be entirely different, and not necessarily a “picturesque” one, had not the Yanks provided these exploits par-excellence.        Taking nothing away from other Countries such as Britain, Australia, New Zealand and even little Ceylon, to mention just four, it is the U.S.A. of that particular era, that was fundamental for the eventual victory of the War, and for this, we owe them, and, of course, every single Member of the Armed Forces who fought so bravely, with thousands of them ...
