Talented Son, Talented Father – Arjun Kumaraswamy (son of Dr Indrajit Coomaraswamy)
This is the latest video from Arjun Kumaraswamy, the Sri Lankan-born, London-based musical artist. Arjun performs in a variety of languages including Sinhala and Tamil but is most famous for his Hindi-English fusion music.
Arjun is the second son of former Central Bank Governor Dr Indrajit Coomaraswamy and his wife Tara. Though Dr Indrajit may look the sober and serious economist now, he captained Sri Lanka to the country’s highest ever accolade in Rugby, Runners up at the 1974 Asiad while also representing Royal College, Harrow, Cambridge and Tamil Union in Cricket.
Arjun’s videos which are particularly popular among 20 and 30 somethings have garnered more than 165 million views on YouTube.
