A Taste of Asia’ was the theme, but the cuisine was purely Sri Lankan as special Chef John Fernando produced yet another spectacular event that packed the Springvale RSL . The Set up was in tune to the happening in Sri Lanka, currently which is celebrating the holy feast of Vesak, a Buddhist festival that has prevailed since time immorial in the Island nation. Popular crooner Wells-Jansz showcased his special vocal talent to a sold out crowd. Elmo is a special talent. The sold out venue feasted on a fantastic Sri Lankan cuisine including a Smorgasbord and unlimited Hoppers fashioned by super Chef John Fernando which is now a mainstay for its popularity and appeal. Elmo made the night complete with his choice of music that had the crowd in a frenzy, and the dance floor crowded most of a chilly Melbourne night. A happy international presence were enthralled by the fare on offer which certainly makes this a continued feature.
