On 1/12/2023, the generous Old Peterite who donated the Andradi Library to the College also gave St. Peter’ the Andradi IT Centre.

In a simple ceremony, this distinguished Alumnus of St. Peter’s opened the IT Centre, named after him, in the presence of the Rector, Rev. Fr. Rohitha Rodrigo, the Priest community of the College and staff.

Ashantha Timothy Andradi has been a generous benefactor of his Alma Mater for a long time and apart from many other initiatives for which he has been the principal donor, the Andradi Library (2012) and now the IT Centre (2023) are two that bear his name and stand out as shining examples of what he has been to College.

Timothy Ashantha Andradi joined St. Peter’s in 1964 and left in 1972. Having completed his London A/Ls, he along with his family emigrated to the UK where he blossomed into being the CEO of his well-known London School of Commerce (LSC).

Ashantha was a student in the 1969 Science Class.
