PUTIN’S BLOOD-CURDLING THREAT TO WEST: by JOE VAN LANGENBERG

 Vladimir Putin,

Russia’s increasingly isolated President Vladimir Putin, seems to be losing the plot, if he hasn’t already lost it. Most if not all, may be of the view, that his cognitive powers or what’s left of them, have been severely compromised.

Given his invasion of Ukraine and his brutal crackdown on a nation, which finds itself at the mercy of Putin’s military aggression and superiority, a greater percentage of Western nations have been rendering invaluable assistance in the form of military aid, inter alia.

Not satisfied with causing widespread death destruction and misery, the intransigent Putin has fired a salvo at the West, a blood-curdling threat, warning all countries which have been coming to Ukraine’s rescue, to butt out, or face dire and unprecedented consequences.

That’s disconcerting to say the very least. Putin has even bragged about his nuclear arsenal. Which then begs two all important questions; Should and could his inflammatory rhetoric be a cause for concern? Or should his threat be dismissed as just hollow and irrational?
According to political analysts and those who know Putin best, his threat to the West is disturbing, as he could be having his finger placed menacingly on the nuclear button.
And given his propensity for erratic decisions, not to mention his high level of intolerance to his critics opposing his style of governance, the possibility or rather probability of Putin making good on his insane threat, looms large.

In light of the prevailing state of affairs which is getting worse by the day, this megalomaniac seems to be deriving sadistic pleasure in the knowledge, that Ukraine is being slowly but surely, cut off at the knees.

This man who so clearly lacks compassion and empathy, in addition to lacking a moral compass, needs to be held accountable and charged with crimes against humanity.
But then, how can this happen, when the world is on tenterhooks, knowing not how the cookie will crumble, should Putin decide to put his money where his mouth is, by engaging in nuclear warfare. It’s alarming in its totality.

Meanwhile Ukraine teeters on the crux of total annihilation, with those who have survived Putin’s cruelty, forced to walk the boulevard of broken dreams, with no hope for the future.
