Sini Murukku – සීනී මුරුක්කු – By Malsha – eLanka

sini murukku

Ingredients required

  •  1 1/2 cups of bread flour (200g)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 table spoons of oil

How to make

First, mix all the above ingredients together. Then add water little by little and knead well until a slightly thick dough is formed. Keep the well kneaded dough covered for 15-20 minutes.

Separate the softened dough into two parts and cut them thinly. Then deep fry until golden. How to make sugar syrup Add 1/4 cup of water and 1/8 teaspoon of salt to 1 cup of sugar and keep the stove on medium heat and mix well.

When the sugar syrup bubbles, add a drop of the sugar syrup to a cup of water and if you can get it together, at that time reduce the heat on the stove and add the sugar syrup to the sugar syrup and keep stirring to form sugar around the sugar syrup.

When you think you have enough sugar, remove the murukka from the heat. This is best eaten after a day.
