Stop blaming resistance. Start upgrading capability. Every time someone says – By Alok Das

Stop blaming resistance. Start upgrading capability.
Every time someone says, “People are resisting,” I hear one thing:
“We didn’t train them well enough.”
Resistance is rarely emotional.
It’s usually competence anxiety wearing a mask.
When training is done right, people stop fearing the unknown because they’ve touched it.
They stop doubting themselves because they’ve practised it.
They stop pushing back because they finally understand it.
They stop escalating because they feel in control again.
Training is the bridge between “I can’t do this” and “I’ve got this.”
If you skip that bridge, don’t be surprised when people refuse to cross.
