The passing of our well-loved Old Antonian/Old Benedictine MAHINDA JERONIMUS on 12th Feb, in Melbourne. MAHINDA JERONIMUS IS NO MORE It is with much sadness that we notify the passing of our well-loved MAHINDA JERONIMUS last afternoon (12th Feb, approx. 3.00pm) in Melbourne. He was 73. Although Mahinda spent most of his school years at St Benedict’s College Kotahena, his couple of years at St Anthony’s College between 1965 and 1966 made him one of our own. Along with his wife Dayani, Mahinda rarely missed our Annual Dinner Dances and he was also a regular at other Antonian events in Melbourne. Mahinda represented SACK in under-16 cricket as a fast bowler, playing alongside his good friend Meri Guneratne. Being educated at two of the four Saints schools, Mahinda showed immense passion in the annual Saints Quadrangular Cricket event in Melbourne, serving as the President of the organising committee until recently. ...
