Obituary : Doris Vannitamby – By Charles Schokman  We are deeply saddened to inform you of the death of Doris Vannitamby (nee Gregory) who was called to be with the Lord on the 8th February 2024. She is the mother of Tyronne and his wife Iranganie, Beverley Hayman and her husband Jeffrey, Helene Jayamaha and her husband Shiran and Edward and his wife Subhasni Singh. Doris’s parents were inaugural members of the Dematagoda Christian Guild, Sri Lanka and she attended the Sunday School. In October 2019 at the celebration of the Guild’s 85th Anniversary she was given the honour to cut the Birthday cake being the eldest surviving member.
