Ingredients:
For the pancakes:
- 200 grams bread flour
- 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 230 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- 25 grams butter
- Red food coloring
For the topping:
- 100 grams cream cheese
- 4 teaspoons maple syrup
- 100 grams chocolate chips
- A pinch of icing sugar
- Strawberries or berries for garnish
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine bread flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, milk, eggs, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
- Add red food coloring to achieve the desired vibrant red color. Mix well.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it into a circle. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with the remaining batter.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and maple syrup until smooth to make the cream cheese drizzle.
- To assemble, spread the cream cheese mixture between two pancakes and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Repeat to make several layers.
- Dust with icing sugar and top each stack with a strawberry or berry.
