Ingredients:

For the pancakes:

  • 200 grams bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 230 ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 25 grams butter
  • Red food coloring

For the topping:

  • 100 grams cream cheese
  • 4 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 100 grams chocolate chips
  • A pinch of icing sugar
  • Strawberries or berries for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine bread flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, milk, eggs, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  2. Add red food coloring to achieve the desired vibrant red color. Mix well.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
  4. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it into a circle. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and maple syrup until smooth to make the cream cheese drizzle.
  6. To assemble, spread the cream cheese mixture between two pancakes and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Repeat to make several layers.
  7. Dust with icing sugar and top each stack with a strawberry or berry.
