Prepare to embark on a journey of taste and texture with our exquisite chocolate fudge. Bursting with the captivating allure of rich cocoa, this treat is a symphony of flavors that will entice your senses and leave you craving for more. Crafted with care and precision, our chocolate fudge recipe combines the velvety smoothness of cooking chocolate, and the optional crunch of cashews. Whether savored as a standalone delight or paired with your favorite beverage, this chocolate fudge is a luxurious indulgence that brings comfort and joy to every bite. Ingredients:

  • 200g Cooking chocolate
  • 150g Milkmaid (sweetened condensed milk)
  • 50g Cashews (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Begin by greasing a 5×5 inch tray with a layer of butter, ensuring all sides are coated. Line the tray with parchment or oil paper for easy removal of the fudge.
  2. Take the cooking chocolate and carefully chop it into small pieces. Utilize the double boil method to melt the chocolate; set up a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water, ensuring the bowl doesn’t touch the water directly. Melt the chocolate pieces in the bowl, stirring occasionally until smooth and velvety.
  3. Once the chocolate has melted completely, introduce the milkmaid (sweetened condensed milk) into the mixture. Stir thoroughly to create a homogeneous blend of rich chocolate and creamy milk.
  4. If desired, incorporate the cashews into the mixture. The cashews can provide a delightful crunch and extra texture to the fudge.
  5. Transfer the chocolate mixture into the prepared tray. Spread and flatten the mixture evenly to achieve a consistent thickness throughout. Place the tray in the refrigerator to set for a duration of 3-4 hours, or preferably overnight, allowing the fudge to solidify and develop its delectable flavors.
  6. After the recommended chilling time has elapsed, retrieve the tray from the refrigerator. Carefully cut the chilled fudge into desirable pieces, considering your preferred serving size.
  7. To serve, pair the luscious chocolate fudge with a cup of unsweetened coffee or an aromatic infusion. The contrasting flavors will create a delightful taste experience.
