Weekend in Dambulla at Liyya Water Villas Resort – By Harold Gunatillake Website : www.Doctorharold.com My wife and I booked this hotel a few weeks ago and visited last weekend. We started from Kandy at about 11 am, and it took us two hours through Matale to reach Dambulla without rush and a comfortable slow drive. This resort was about 2 km before Dambulla Cave Temple., where had to turn left near a small boutique. There was a large display board at the turn-off.
