One sees the looming aura of the Festive season on the horizon
Bringing the message of Peace, Harmony and Goodwill among humans
For no matter what Faith you follow; its’ sure to rekindle and awaken
The message of peace, harmony & goodness; which is a given
The smooth and harmonious carols and seasonal music that herald the season
Lulls you to that feeling of compassion, longing and anticipation
And your mind does revert to Family, Kith & Kin; and Friends
As you listen and reminisce you soon leave behind the woes behind
It reminds and cements your universal feeling of giving and togetherness
A time of reminiscing and perpetuating good thoughts, wishes and feelings
And sincere prayers that everyone may receive the Good Lords’ Blessings
Regardless of a persons’ caste, creed or religion
In the furore of our merry making and celebrations
Let us not forget our devout supplication
To pay obeisance to the Good Lord for His creation
Of a Faith that leads us to a life of fulfilment of goodness among humans
Lets’ also not forget the less fortunate and the downtrodden
And give them a hand to alleviate their misfortune
Yes! Doing charity with dignity is of significance
And you’d feel you have shared your happiness and joy with the deserving
