ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ගුවන්විදුලි සේවය ආරම්භ වී ‍මේ මස 16 දිනට 98 වසරක් සපිරේ. – By Gamini Kariyawasam 2025 දී ශතක පුර්ණය වෙත පියනගන – ජාතික ගුවන්විදුලිය. 1920 සිට ලංකා ගුවන්විදුලි සංගමය විකාශන සම්ප්‍රේෂණය කිරීම පිණිස මෙරට පර්යේෂණයන්හී නියැළී සිටියහ. ගුග්ලිමෝ මාකෝනි ගුවන්විදුලි තරංග මාලා හඳුනාගෙන දශක දෙකක් යාමට මත්තෙන්, එනම් 1925 දෙසැම්බර් 16 වන දින මෙරට ගුවන්විදුලි ප්‍රචාරක කටයුතු ආරම්භ කිරීමට තරම් ශ්‍රී ලංකාව කාර්යශුර වූවාය.බ්‍රිතාන්‍යයෙහි ගුවන්විදුලි විකාශනය 1922 දී ආරම්භ විය.ලංකාවට සමගාමීව ජපානය සහ පේරු රාජ්‍යයෙහි නිත්‍ය ගුවන්විදුලි විකාශනය ආරම්භ කරන ලදී. ගුග්ලිමෝ මාකෝනි තමා නිපදවූ මුල්ම ගුවන්විදුලි යන්ත්‍රය සමග. එවකට මෙරට ආණ්ඩුකාර ධුරය හෙබවූ ශ්‍රීමත් හියූ ක්ලිෆඩ් මහතා, මධ්‍යම විදුලි සංදේශ කාර්යාලයේ තනන ලද විකාශන මැදිරියක සිට කළ කතාව ඇතුළත් විකාශනය මෙරට ප්‍රචාරය වූ ප්‍රථම ගුවන්විදුලි වැඩසටහන ලෙස සැළකේ පැය කීපයකට සීමා වූ මුල්ම ගුවන්විදුලියේ වැඩසටහන් බටහිර ...
