Minchi Bliss: A Flavorful Journey of Fragrant Rice Delight – By Malsha – eLanka

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Basmati or any preferred rice
  • 50g Minchi leaves
  • 4 green chili pods
  • 5 white onions
  • Thinly sliced B onion
  • 5 dry chili pods
  • A pinch of suduru
  • Butter
  • Roasted cashews
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Cardamom and cloves (a small quantity)
  • Ginger paste
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Start by grinding Minchi leaves, green chillies, and garlic into a fine paste.
  2. Place a pot on the stove, add a dollop of butter, and fry cardamom, cloves, bay leaves, finely chopped onion, and a pinch of cumin.
  3. Introduce the prepared Minchi green paste to the pot. Once well-tempered, add the cooked rice and stir. Season with salt to taste and continue stirring.
  4. Finally, garnish with roasted cashew nuts.
