The entrance to the Auditorium door opened and the guests were led to the roof top in an elevator which was never witnessed in any virtual event before. The curtains rolled down, the lights went off in the Auditorium and the official ceremony began followed by the Global Cultural Program. They go out of their way to do what they can for the community and Sri Lanka. The Foundation is famous for many things, one of which is their Sri Lanka Day Expo and Parade held on the route of the famous Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA. Thousands of Sri Lankans lined the streets of Pasadena to watch the parade with pride in the past. Due to Covid, the Foundation has not been able to organize this annual celebration.
