මෝඩයන් ගේ දිනයේ  හාස්‍ය සහ ත්‍රාසය  මුසු  අවස්ථාවන්-by  Gamini Kariyawasam Image Source:Germanpod101 2026 වසරේ අප්‍රේල් 01 වන දින , මෝඩයින්ගේ දිනය අප හමුවට එළැඹ ඇත. මෙම නිමේෂයේ,වසර ගණනාවකට ඉහත,අප්‍රේල් පළමු වැනිදාවක මෝඩයින්ගේ දිනයේ දී  , මට මුහුණ දීමට සිදුවූ, ත්‍රාසය සහ  හාස්‍ය  මුසු අත්දැකීමක් මගේ මතකයට නැගෙන්නේ නිතැතිනි.එය  මගේ ජීවිතයට අමතක නොවන සුළු අත්දැකීමකි. එවකට මම  ,ජර්මනීයේ    බොන් ප්‍රාන්තයේ,ශ්‍රීලංකා  කොන්සල් ජනරාල් ලෙසින් රාජකාරියෙහි නිරතව  සිටියෙමි. එදවස  මා මුහුණ දුන් එම  සිද්ධිය  පිළිබඳව,2026 මෝඩයන්ගේ දිනයේදී  මෙවන් සටහනක්  තැබීමට මසිත පෙළඹුනේ,එහි පවත්නා අපුර්ව ස්වභාවය  නිසාම පමණක් නොවේ.විවිධ රටවල විස්මිත  සම්ප්‍රදයික සංස්කෘතික උරුමයන්  පිළිබදව ,පාඨකයින් දැනුවත් කිරීමේ අභිලාශය ද පෙරදැරි කරගෙනය.                                     2004 අප්‍රේල් 01 වන දින උදෑසන  මා සුපුරුදු පරිදි  කාර්යාලයට පිවිස ,අසුන් ගත්තා පමණි.මගේ නිල කාමරයේ දොර තල්ලු කර ගෙන,මා කිසි දිනෙක දැක නැති, ජර්මන් තරුණියක මා අසලට දිව ආවාය. ඇගේ අතේ තිබු මුවහත් කතුර දුටු මට ,මේ  සිදුවන්නට යන්නේ කුමක්දැයි අදහා ගත නොහැකි විය . මා පුටුව පසෙකට ලා හුන් අසුනෙන් නැගී සිටිත් ම ,එම තරුණිය මා සමීපයට ම පැමිණ ,මා පැළද සිටි ටයි පටියෙන් ඇද්දේ රෞද්‍ර විලාශයකින් නම් නොව, සිනා සපිරි මුව මඩලකින් යුක්තවය. ඕ තම අතවූ කතුරෙන්, මා ගෙළ  පැළඳී ටයි පටිය කපනවාත්  සමග ම, මම  ඇය  පසෙකට තල්ලු කළෙමි.ඒ වන විටත් කපා ගත්  ටයි පටියේ කොටසක් ඇය අතේ රැදී තිබිණි.ඇය එය  ලෙලවමින්,සමීපයට පැමිණ  මා තරයේ වැළද ගෙන ,මගේ දෙකොපුල් සිප ගත්තාය.මා සීනුව නාද කලේ ,ආරක්ෂක නිලධාරියා කැදවා ගැනීම පිණිසය.ඒ සැණින් කාර්යාලයේ සියලු දෙනා මගේ කාමරයට කඩා වැදුනේ මා විමතියට පත් කරවමිනි.                     මගේ පෞද්ගලික සහකාර ,ජර්මන් ජාතික මාටිනා නම් යුවතිය  අත මල් කළඹක් සහ දුඹුරු පැහැ අළුත් ටයි පටියක්  විය. ඇය ,ඒවා  මා වෙත පිරිනැමීමට පෙර , ලේන්සුවකින් මා දෙකොපුල පිස දමා, ලේන්සුව පැමිණි පිරිස  වෙත පෑවේ, එහි තැවරී තිබු රත් පැහැ දෙතොල් සායම් ප්‍රදර්ශනය කරවමිණි.මා ඉදිරිපිට සිටි කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය සිනහ සලමින් අත්පුඩි ගැසූහ. අනතුරුව  මාටිනා, මල් කළඹ සහ ටයි පටිය මවෙත තිළිණ කලේ  ඉංග්‍රීසි බසින්  වදන් චිත්‍රයක් මවමිනි.                   “සර් අද අප්‍රේල් පළමුවැනිදා,අප්‍රේල් පළමුවැනිදා මෝඩයාගේ දවස සිහිපත් කිරීමේ පැරණි ජර්මන් සම්ප්‍රදායක් මේක.ඒ  අනුව ,කාර්යාලයේ ප්‍රධානියා ගේ ටයි පටිය කපා,ඔහු වැළද ගෙන සිප ගැනීමේ චාරිත්‍රය අප ඉටු කලේ ,ඔබතුමාව විශ්මයට පත් කරන ගමන් සුබ පතන්න.ජර්මන් භාෂාවෙන් මෝඩයාගේ දිනය හඳුන්වන්නේ  Aprilscherz කියල.අද මෝඩයාගේ දිනය සමරන්න  ජර්මනිය  පුරා විවිධ සංස්කෘතික උත්සව පැවැත්වෙනවා. …” 🙁 "Sir, today is...
