Roy Nihal Cooray Passed Away in Torrance, Ca. on October 23rd, 2023 Roy Nihal Cooray We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Roy Nihal Cooray on October 23, 2023. Beloved husband of Valerie, father of Dilky (Anand Cornelio) and Reshan (Amali Jayasinghe) and grandfather of Devan, Kai, Jai, and Diyani.  Although we mourn his loss, we know that he is rejoicing with the Lord and we invite you to join in a mass celebrating his life. OBITUARY : JEHAN RAHEEM – By Hugh Karunanayake JEHAN  RAHEEM  (19. 6. 1935 – 25.10.2023) Jehan Raheem, my  classmate through Royal Prep School and thereafter in Royal College,, and an outstanding  intellect, passed away in his home in New York, yesterday. His demise was mistakenly announced a week ago, but the end was near, and he finally  succumbed to the ravages of cancer in the morning of 25 October. A man given to a wry sense of humour, would have been thinking on the lines of Mark Twain on the unintended falsity, by exclaiming that “rumours of my death are vastly exaggerated”!
