Sri Lanka to host U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024 Source:Dailymirror Top emerging talent will be heading to Sri Lanka in 2024 for the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, as the ICC Board announced host countries for U19 events between 2024 and 2027. Zimbabwe and Namibia, Malaysia and Thailand, and Bangladesh and Nepal are also set to host ICC U19 events between 2024 and 2027, after the ICC Board approved the plans. Asia Rugby Sevens Series 2022 : Sri Lanka finish fourth Source:Dailymirror Sri Lanka had to settle for fourth place in the second leg of the Asian Rugby Sevens Series 2022 after losing 24-07 to the Philippines in the match for third place. Sri Lanka got off to a bright start but suffered some setbacks in the last half of the match due to the aggressive playing style of the Filipino players. Eight countries participated in this series, which was held on November 12-13 at the Namdong Asiad Rugby Stadium in Incheon, South Korea.
