India rout Sri Lanka once more sending an ominous warning to the rest in the World Cup. – BY TREVINE RODRIGO IN MELBOURNE.  (eLanka Sports editor). India sent tremors through the World Cup with another demolition of a completely out of tune Sri Lanka and duck season would best describe the Islanders pathetic run chase at Wankhede stadium. If there were doubts about the one sided Asia Cup final, India dispelled all of them as their bowlers ran riot to give them five more runs, 50 all out in the Asia Cup, and 55 all out here and a 302 run win. Chasing 357 Sri Lanka were never in with a chance as Mohamed Shami and Mohamed Siraj wreaked havoc on a clueless Sri Lanka batting line-up after Jasprit Bumrah prised out usually consistent Pathum Nissanka in his first ball.  This set the stage for what could be a record five ...

Today, in the hearts of 9 billion humans living on earth, this Spirit of Darkness is operating as the “Prince of this earth”. Violence at its peak! {The writer of this article, is convinced without a shadow of doubt in his heart, that the reader will comprehend this hidden revelation in scripture; only if the reader has received the Baptism of Pentecost? Also, removes from his mind the concepts and arguments, presented through science and theology, beautifully-animated to hide the truth of human suffering.} THE CLIMAX OF DARKNESS IS NOT DEATH; IT IS WHAT LEADS TO THIS EVENT THROUGH HUMAN SUFFERING. OBITUARY : JEHAN RAHEEM – By Hugh Karunanayake JEHAN  RAHEEM  (19. 6. 1935 – 25.10.2023) Jehan Raheem, my  classmate through Royal Prep School and thereafter in Royal College,, and an outstanding  intellect, passed away in his home in New York, yesterday. His demise was mistakenly announced a week ago, but the end was near, and he finally  succumbed to the ravages of cancer in the morning of 25 October. A man given to a wry sense of humour, would have been thinking on the lines of Mark Twain on the unintended falsity, by exclaiming that “rumours of my death are vastly exaggerated”! Born in Hulftsdorf where his father enjoyed a lucrative practice as a lawyer, Jehan was the eldest of nine children, all high achievers, with Jehan the eldest showing the way to his younger siblings. . Of portly build, he was a friendly and genial person very popular with ...
