Bonsai and Investments a business case study – By Prashanth Sentilkumar Source : Prashanth Sentilkumar Linkedin Bonsai is the Japanese and East Asian art of growing miniature trees in containers. It is developed from the Chinese art form of penjing. Bonsai uses cultivation technology like pruning, root reduction, potting, deformation and grafting. The Sri lanka Bonsai association had an exhibition a month back where many specimens owned by association members were displayed. Some of the specimens were 10 plus years old ,that shows the dedication towards the art. DMT allows tuk-tuks to modify at a cost-by Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama Source:Dailymirror The Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) today granted permission allowing three-wheelers to have certain appliances fitted to trishaws, such as decorations, etc., DMT Commissioner General Nishantha Anurudda Weerasinghe said. The permission was granted based on continuous discussions with three-wheeler associations and according to the Motor Traffic Act. The permission came into effect on Monday (10). Accordingly, DMT allows the modification of three-wheelers under thirty categories with a maximum charge of Rs. 2,500 and a minimum of Rs. 500, which some of the categories come under, without a payment. ...

India’s Alliance Air To Fly Its ATR Daily To Jaffna, Sri Lanka-by GAURAV JOSHI Source:Simpleflying India has always been a significant source of tourism for Sri Lanka.
